DIY [camera bag]

 

 

what you need:

- a piece of fabric that is four times bigger than your camera

- wadding

- rubber band and a button

- needle and yarn

As I told you in a previous post, I went to buy a new camera - and so I did: Sony WX7B is my new baby.

I've been looking for a bag at various stores but either they were too expensive or too boring.

That's why I decided to make one on my own. Back in Strasbourg I bought tons of fabrics and as my exams are finished I finally had the time to do a DIY.

Adding the 'Longchamp' banner is just a little joke.

Erstes Türchen!

Ich kann es kaum glauben, wie schnell die Zeit vergangen ist! 

Prüfungsstress - Afrika - Uni geht weiter - und nun sitze ich schon wieder am Schreibtisch... Und in 9 Tagen ist L. auch endlich wieder zurück! Dann gibt es Unmengen an Outfitposts, versprochen!

Neben "EU Recht" lese ich derzeit "Small World" von Martin Suter, ein Buch über das Leides eines Alzheimerpatienten eingebettet in eine Familientragödie. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Auf dem letzten Foto seht ihr mein neuestes DIY-Projekt: eine Einkaufstasche von Kaufland (0,99 €) in eine mini It-Bag umgewandelt! Wie ihr das Ganze am besten angeht, zeige ich euch in den kommenden Tagen.

Heute abend steht endlich der erste Besuch des Christkindlmarkts an!

I can't believe how fast time is running by... Now it's been already 9 weeks since I was in Africa!

And now it's to learn again, cannot last summer longer than terms?

On the second picture you can see a German book which is called "Small World" by a Swiss author called Martin Suter. It is about Alzheimer's, perhaps not an issue that we should think about yet but it is really interesting!

On the last one there's my new DIY-project! A plain shopping bag from a cheap supermarketing (it's been 0,99€) pimped with some words! I even wear it to university as it is really huge and almost everything fits in there!

Tonight: first visit of the Christkindlmarkt!

DIY!

Ich neige dazu bei H&M Klamotten zu kaufen, die gnadenlos reduziert sind ("Gefällt mir eigentlich nicht so, aber kann man bestimmt mal brauchen, kostet ja nur 3 €!") Meistens enden besagte Stücke immer weit hinten im Kleiderschrank und werden kein einziges Mal getragen. So erging es auch diesem Longsleeve. Im Frühling entdeckte ich in Strassburg jedoch einen äußerst preiswerten Stoffladen, wo ich wahllos eingekauft habe, kann man ja bestimmt mal brauchen, so ein paar hundert Stofffetzen! Hier kamen beide vorschnellen Käufe zusammen - und siehe da, ergeben ein Unikat :-)

Everytime I see a piece of H&M which is ridiculously cheap, I feel like I HAVE to buy it. But in the end it just ends up somewhere in my closet, never worn again in its entire life.

Same strategy, different place. In Strasbourg, France I found a shop which sells fabric -  ridiculously cheap as well! So I bought tons of different fabric in every shape and colour.

In this case - both rash bargains produced one of a kind!
