Da es in Südafrika, zumindest hier am Western Cape, tatsächlich billiger ist, Essen zu gehen anstatt für zwei Personen zu kochen, verbringen wir die meiste Zeit in Restaurants...
Glücklicherweise führt der kürzeste Weg in das Zentrum von Stellenbosch durch den Botanischen Garten (der älteste seiner Art in ganz Südafrika!), wo wir gleich die Gelegenheit ergriffen haben, Fotos zu machen... Sieht noch nicht ganz aus wie bei den Großen aber man lernt jeden Tag dazu :-)
Belohnt haben wir uns dann mit einem Joghurt mit frischen Früchten und Honig, dazu Roiboos-Tee (der übrigens aus Südafrika stammt)
Das Ganze bekommt man hier umgerechnet schon für 2,60 € - unvorstellbar in Regensburg oder gar Wien!
Although you may guess that buying food in Africa is cheaper than back home in Europe,
I can tell you that we spend most of our time eating in restaurants!
A "health breakfast" with tea included only cuts into your budget with about 2,60 €!
Sounds like a dream, doesn't it?
Luckily on our way to the inner city of Stellenbosch we have to cross the Botanical Gardens (which are by the way the oldest in South Africa). We decided to take the first pictures for the blog here!
